WhatsApp Text Status Feature is Back For Android Users, Soon Will be Back For iOS

There is some good news for all the WhatsApp users, WhatsApp text Status Feature has been back now but only for the Android smartphone users. Users can now update their WhatsApp Version that is 2.17.107 which is available on the Google PlayStore.

If some users want to operate the previous Status feature, then they need to click on the three spots present on the top right corner of the section WhatsApp app. After, that click on the Settings options and tick on the profile picture area.

This feature of adding Text Status is available under the About and phone number tab options. Now, the users will quickly view the last update details on the screens. The status can be easily modified or changed according to one’s need or you can also turn it to Available, Busy, At work, Can’t Talk, WhatsApp only, etc. options present over there.

This option is out only for the Android users, but soon it will be out for the iOS users too, but the dates and the details are not decided yet. However, the update doesn’t mean WhatsApp is doing away with its disappearing Status feature. The Snapchat-style designed WhatsApp Status which help in allowing the operators to add videos and photos that will automatically disappear within 24 hours.

Another small change which is visible in the WhatsApp is that it bring up a new option which is ‘Add attachment’ icon that has moved to the text box where users type message, from the tab above. Plus, users can now move profile pictures to the left, right, top and bottom. This small change sound very cool.

Also, following to a report in Android Police, WhatsApp is straining the potential to direct addition of GIFs via Google’s Gboard keypad. The feature is uniquely availed by Android users in WhatsApp beta 2.17.110, which can be downloaded from APK Mirror. You can also get the affixing beta updates directly by joining the Play Store beta. Once you become a beta tester, you’ll get reviews even before they are rolled out for everyone.
