Samsung Could Have an Amethyst Galaxy S8 Version Soon

The debacle with the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has caused Samsung to step up its game quite a lot. It is going to introduce the Samsung Galaxy S8 in many colors to distract the customer base from what had happened to the Note7. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are going to be made available in a variety of colors. It seems as if Samsung is all for changes and risk taking this time around, with its imagination running wild.

Samsung’s official website has a sign-up page that asks the users which color they would prefer their Galaxy S8 in. The options are Black, Silver, and Amethyst. This contradicts that earlier rumors which had said that the flagship model will come in Violet instead of Amethyst.

On the other had Violet is quite similar to Amethyst so this might be just a way of Samsung’s change the names a tint. If you search the word Amethyst the bright color which appears is very similar to Violet. So this might just be Samsung changing the names of these colored devices.

Adding multi colors might be a smart trick in increasing the sales of the product. The same strategy was used by Apple with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. By adding the Jet Black and Balck color the sales of these had considerably increased. So by adding new colors to the list, Samsung is increasing its chances with the customers. The sales of the iPhones had skyrocketed so much that the customers had to wait for long periods to get their hands on the device.

Rumors state that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be released in March whereas the earlier rumors had pointed to the release date being 28th March. Both the models are going to sport amazing and revolutionary features and now come in exciting colors.
