Earlier this week Nokia had tweeted that its future phone will not use Carl Zeiss optics lens anymore. This news hit the users hard as previous phones were famous for their photography powers and videography skills. However, hope prevails in the form of rumors that have recently surfaced. The rumors state that the latest smartphones will be shipped with the famous brand name as well as the high-performance optics.
Nokia has announced it’s 3,5 and 6 and the remodeled Nokia 3310 multimedia set. It is probable that these phones will not come with the high-end optics that mark the Nokia smartphones. after speaking to HMD Global, Nokiapoweruser came to know for sure that the aforementioned smartphone will not feature the optics.
This only leaves Nokia 8 for speculations regarding the Carl Zeiss optics. The flagship model was not announced at the recent MWC, which indicated that it will be released at a later date. The flagship model will be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor, and as the chipset are extremely scarce, it was wise to hold off the release of the smartphone till they become readily available. HMD Global has yet not confirmed it the upcoming smartphone will feature this upgrade or not. We can not be sure of anything if there is any concrete leak or an official leak.
The Nokia 8 will also feature its own personalized assistant just like Samsung’s Bixby or Google’s AL. Some people also believed that Nokia PureView might be a part of the smartphone’s imaging technology. However, that is not going to happen because Microsoft claimed that technology for itself when it made the acquisition of the former smartphone giant.
Here is hoping that the smartphone features the high-end optic and the famous brand name too.
Stay tuned for more Nokia updates.
