Nokia 9 to Packs Up OZO Audio, Iris Scanner & Carl Zeiss Lens

Nokia Power User states that Nokia 9 will be a high-end Android smartphone with Nokia’s OZO Audio enhancement technology

HMD Global is working on the next phone in its Nokia line. The Nokia 9 is not yet announced, but rumors regarding it have started surfacing. The Nokia 9 is expected to pack some high-end features such as iris scanner and the new OZO Audio Technology.

A report by Nokia Power User states that Nokia 9 will be a high-end Android smartphone with Nokia’s OZO Audio enhancement technology. It is a software-based technology that enables and camera of the smartphone to record 3D audio or a particular sound. The 3D audio technology is compatible with any smartphone with 2 or 3 microphones.

And the Nokia 9 will also feature 22 MP back camera with dual lens. The lens will come with Carl Zeiss optics. And the front camera will be 12 MP. The smartphone will also feature an iris scanner for security just as the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.

The smartphone will run on Android Nougat 7.0. It will feature a 5.5-inch QHD display OLED display with IP68 water-and-dust resistance. The smartphone will have a fingerprint scanner. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor coupled with 6GB RAM. The internal storage will be either 64GB or 128GB. And it will run on a 3,800mAh battery with Quick Charging 4.0 technology.

HMD Global has not yet made any announcement regarding the Nokia 9. If rumors are to be believed, then Nokia 9 will be a high-end smartphone with it being placed in the upper segment of the smartphone market. There is no news as to when this smartphone will be released but we expect it to come in the latter half of the year.

HMD Global had released three new smartphones Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. It had also released the revamped version of Nokia 3310. All four phones are expected to come to Indian Markets in June.
