GTA V Teaching Pro Driving Lessons to Autopilot Cars

GTA 5 driverless cars and auto pilot cars

Autonomous car industries are using GTA 5 in Autopilot car simulation tests.

Researchers and engineers are using one of the most popular Games’ massive open-world GTA V to provide some lessons so that that autopilot cars can drive better.

Anyone who’s played GTA V knows the world is bristling with AI drivers who react and interact with the environment, and there are a lot of random events that copy out real world happened instances. Most of the researchers are using GTA V cheat codes to run the simulations and test scenarios as exact like the game to check the software that runs autonomous vehicles. In a sense the vehicles are “playing” the games, learning from interactions with the world itself, and more important thing is the mistakes they make often. This produces a significant amount of data for the vehicle’s system to learn from and gives manufacturers and engineers most valuable and vital information in the process. With

With the variety of cars and dynamic physics, GTA V is one of the most appropriate virtual ground for driverless cars to learn from. Researchers at Intel Labs and Darmstadt started using GTA V for autonomous vehicle testing the last year. Using GTA V for their tests, Google’s self-driving car project Waymo can run simulations where cars drive 3 million miles per day. “Waymo uses its simulators to create a confounding motoring situation for every variation engineers can think of: having three cars changing lanes at the same time at an assortment of speeds and directions, for instance,” Bloomberg reports. “What’s learned virtually is applied physically, and problems encountered on the road are studied in the simulation.”
