In the previous post we were expecting Exynos 9810 for the Galaxy S8, But here now Samsung has announced the next generation Exynos 8895 SoC, Which is of 10nm FinFET architecture and can be a super alternative to Snapdragon 835 and Helio X30.
According to Samsung, the new Exynos series 9 Soc Exynos 8895 will be a performance booster which will boost the performance up to 27 percent more and be speaking of power consumption, Exynos 8895 will be consuming 40 percent less power as comparing with the older SoC model which was Exynos 8890.
The new Exynos 8895 will also come with a newer modem to feature higher download and upload speed. The new Exynos 8895 is on its way to mass production, and along with Samsung devices, it’s reported that Meizu is going to use Exynos 8895 in its flagships.
Exynos 8895 Rounds Up Next-Gen LTE Modem and a 20-Core GPU
Samsung Electronic’s Vice President of LSI marketing, Ben Hur stated some point about the new Exynos 8895 SoC mentioned downstairs:
He said “In addition to being built on the most advanced 10nm FinFET process technology, the new Exynos 9 Series 8895 incorporates Samsung’s cutting-edge technologies including a 2nd generation custom CPU, gigabit LTE modem, and more. With industry leading technologies like VPU, the Exynos 8895 will drive the innovation of next-generation smartphones, VR headsets, and automotive infotainment system.”
Exynos 8895 Configuration:
Speaking of the Specifications and Configurations of the Exynos 8895, it will be packing octa-core setup in which first quad core will be a custom CPU and the next Quad core will be of Cortex- A53. Along with that, it will come up with Mali – G71 MP20 GPU with a 4k Ultra high definition display of resolution 3840×2160 which will be of 16:9 ratio. Along with that, it is also compatible with LPDDR4x RAM and will provide support for eMMC 5.1, UFS 2.1 and 28MP front and rear-facing cameras.
